Extreme flatness of parts to within .001" or .002" in most cases is readily achieved with the CWP precision parts straighteners. Small parts as thin as .010" can be flattened on our precision small parts straighteners, while larger fine blanked parts, clutch plates and laser burnt parts can be flattened on our larger precision parts straighteners or B&K levelers. With the upper straightener rolls set in one bank, straightener roll penetration is set by simple 2-point adjustment. Wider precision parts straighteners have backed up rolls to prevent roll deflection while maintaining their advantageous working diameters. Seventeen straightening rolls and two pinch/feed rolls are all powered to carry the parts all the way through without distortion or buckling.
