Cradle Straightener

Coil Cradle-Straighteners by CWP^© safely payout and straighten coils of material. Uncoiling and straightening operations are combined in an integrally mounted unit with synchronized payout. The four cradle rolls, four straightener pinch rolls and lower straightening rolls are driven by a variable speed drive with laser loop control. All rolls are Hardened, Ground, and set in anti-friction bearings. Coil cradle confining plates with flared lead edge are independently adjusted. Angular straightener head mounting accepts material readily from the coil and delivers it into a gradual slack loop. The “L” shaped steel weldment cabinet provides highly engineered loading access and material flow.
