It all started here in 1946, with a simple garment clip and the need to produce it efficently and in large quantities. The Cooper-Weymouth hitch feed was born.


Milestones:

  • 1946 - Cooper-Weymouth founded in CT.
  • 1967 - Broke ground on current facility
  • 1968 - Moved to Maine from CT.
  • 1971 - 1st building expansion
  • 1974 - Cooper-Weymouth Purchased by Sterling Radiator (Mestek)
  • 1974 - Peterson Roll Forming merged with Cooper-Weymouth to form CWP
  • 1995 - Purchased Rowe Machinery and Manufacturing
  • 1996 - 2nd building expansion
  • 1996 - Rowe Machinery and Manufacturing moves to Maine facility
  • 1997 - Purchased Coilmate-Dickerman
  • 1998 - Coilmate moved to Maine
  • 2010 - Iowa Precision Coil Metal Processing division moved to Maine
