KB56: Counter-weighing loop

Category: Control Considerations | Updated: 6/12/2007 8:19:39 AM | Owner: The Professor | Read: 4959 (Last: 9/21/2019 2:34:28 PM)

Resolution

In today’s higher speed stamping world, certain combinations of strokes per minute and feed length are playing havoc with the control of the free loop. The material tends to bounce and vibrate erratically producing false control signals which recycle units too frequently or destroy feed accuracies. Some people have relieved such conditions by simply applying appropriate counter weights to the free loop of material.
